Our client seeks a Java developer with GUI
design and software development skills. This is a full-time position
with a division of an international company located near Olympia,
WA. The ideal candidate will develop profiling applications for the
software embedded in chips used in a wide range of electronic
devices – from cell phones to refrigerators.
The ideal candidate
must have 2+ years experience in Java programming. The candidate
should have implemented GUI designs in Java and significant
experience with the Eclipse Integrated Design Environment. Also -
experience adding GUI plug-ins to Eclipse.
S/He must have skills
to design/construct the intuitive onscreen layouts and controls that
make program operation easy for the user. Experience producing
shareware like games would be beneficial. You must have demonstrable
accomplishments in the area of human interface/graphic user
interface design.
Requirements:
Strong background in Java development and
design
Commitment to developing
high-quality, elegant, self-documenting code
Ability to use an Object-Oriented and
architectural model
Excellent communication
skills
Passion for programming and cutting
edge technology
Bachelor's Degree in
Computer Science Degree
Highly Desirable:
Familiarity with high-level C/C++ code
optimization techniques
A clear
understanding of the principals involved in traditional profiling
techniques as well as sampling and instrumentation methodologies
Experience working with Eclipse IDE
